Full job description

We are a growing engineering consultancy providing engineering support to groundworks and civil engineering contractors across the UK. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Site Engineer/ Junior Engineer to join our team on a project near Rugby, with the opportunity to progress onto other ongoing project

This role is ideal for an engineer looking to develop their career within a company where they will receive support, mentoring, and genuine opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

Setting out for kerbs, foundations, drainage and external works.
Carrying out QA inspections and maintaining quality records.
Producing accurate as-built surveys.
Checking works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Liaising with site management and subcontractors.
Maintaining daily site records and engineering documentation.
Ensuring works are delivered safely and to a high standard.

Requirements

Experience working as a Site Engineer within groundworks or civil engineering.
Competent using Trimble or Leica GPS and Total Station equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with QA documentation and as-built records.
Full UK driving licence.
CSCS Card (essential).

Desirable

Experience in civils, roads and sewers, external works or infrastructure projects.
AutoCAD experience desirable
