Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while providing memorable experiences for our patrons. All positions are paid, including internship roles, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts. Wage meets minimum wage for age category .

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
Monitor guest behaviour to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons
Restock bar supplies as necessary and manage stock levels effectively
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote repeat business

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
Good organisational skills, including time management and multitasking abilities, are essential
Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately
Experience working in a kitchen or culinary setting can be an asset but is not mandatory
