Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Barber to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment, providing grooming services to a diverse clientele. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating stylish cuts and grooming treatments, ensuring clients leave satisfied and confident. Flexibility in working hours and a proactive attitude are essential qualities for this position.

Duties

Providing customised haircuts, trims, and grooming services in accordance with client preferences
Offering professional advice on hairstyles, hair care, and grooming products
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work station in compliance with health and safety standards
Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times
Staying updated with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
Assisting with stock management and ensuring all tools are properly sanitised after use

Experience

Proven experience as a barber or hair stylist is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Demonstrable knowledge of barbering techniques, hair styling, and grooming products
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and offer professional advice
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering high-quality grooming services
