Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within our premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service. The Domestic Assistant will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our residents and visitors through efficient and courteous service.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across various areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
Organise and manage cleaning schedules to optimise efficiency while maintaining high standards.
Assist with laundry and linen management as required.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and stored securely.
Provide person centred care by addressing any specific requests or concerns from clients or visitors courteously and promptly.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in care setting or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Friendly and professional demeanour.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a home from home environment.
A positive attitude towards cleanliness, organisation, and delivering high standards of service.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
