360 Material Scrap Handler Driver

Salary Negotiable depending on experience.
Location Nechells,Birmingham

A Crane Driver is required for a large scrap metal processing company based in
Nechells, Brirmingham .

As a Crane Driver, you will be working as a part of the yard team.

Loading lorries, sorting materials and feeding a shredder when required.

360 material handler, Bobcat and forklift truck experience preferred.

Hours
7am - 5pm Mon - Fri . 7pm - 12pm Saturday as required.

The rate of pay for this role is negotiable depending on experience.

This role is on a perm basis.

Responsibilities and Duties

Grade and sort metal types
Operate the crane to stack or load sorted metal, and keep the yard in a tidy condition
Plant and Machinery defect checks and completion of defect sheets, recording any defects, before using the crane.
Carry out routine plant inspections.
General housekeeping of metal in yard area.

Qualifications

Crane driving licence essential
Previous experience of minor crane repairs would be ideal.
Forklift truck/Bobcat driving licence ideal but not essential.
Experience in the scrap industry is an advantage.
Trustworthy and reliable.

Salary: Competitive plus Pension benefits
