Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as sauces, fish, or pastry stations
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
- Assist in menu planning and development alongside the Head Chef
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Train junior staff members and provide guidance on food preparation techniques
- Ensure consistent quality in meal preparation and presentation
- Contribute to creating a positive and professional kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or similar roles within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent organisational skills
- Familiarity with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Previous experience in a supervisory or specialised station role is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous
