Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Lettings Agent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property lettings, liaising with prospective tenants and landlords, and ensuring smooth rental processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within the property management sector, providing valuable experience in client relations, administration, and property marketing. The position is suitable for individuals eager to contribute to a professional and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct viewings of rental properties with prospective tenants, providing detailed information and answering queries.
Manage tenant applications, including referencing, credit checks, and tenancy agreements.
Liaise effectively with landlords to understand their requirements and provide regular updates.
Maintain accurate records of all lettings activities using organisational software.
Assist in marketing available properties through various channels to attract suitable tenants.
Handle enquiries via phone, email, or in person promptly and professionally.
Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections ensuring compliance with company policies.
Support the team in administrative duties such as updating databases, preparing documentation, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements

Proven administrative experience, ideally within property or lettings sectors.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A professional demeanour combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to property lettings is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
A valid driving licence and vehicle is required. Mileage paid.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
