Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Bouncy Castle Deliveries and Collection Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting inflatable play equipment safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and collection for events such as parties and community gatherings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, physical stamina, and a friendly communication style to interact with clients and team members. Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse work, or heavy lifting is advantageous. A valid driver’s licence, preferably with a clean driving record, is essential for this position.

Duties

Safely deliver bouncy castles and inflatable equipment to designated venues according to schedule.
Collect equipment after events, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
Conduct routine checks on the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Load and unload equipment, including heavy inflatables, requiring physical strength and organisation.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or any issues.
Assist with organising inventory within the warehouse to facilitate efficient dispatching of equipment.
Follow all health and safety regulations during transportation, setup, and collection processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving transportation of goods.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries is desirable.
Warehouse experience or familiarity with handling heavy lifting tasks is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items safely.
Organised with good time management skills to ensure punctuality across multiple deliveries and collections.
