Lead the Way in Positive Behaviour Support

Position: Behaviour Support Supervisor
Location: Norwich (Supporting a dedicated local team)
Salary: Starting from £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: 1 year, fixed contract, Monday, Thursday & Friday (9 hours each day)

About the Role

Are you an experienced Care, Support, or Behaviour professional looking to take the next step in your career?

At Skybound Therapies, we are looking for a passionate, clinically minded, and resilient Behaviour Support Supervisor to join a small, dedicated team in Norwich. In this role, you will be directly supporting a young adult with autism and behaviours of concern, ensuring they receive the highest standard of person-centred, evidence-based care.

This role balances hands-on support with clinical leadership. You will split your time between providing direct care and guiding your team to implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies effectively, backed by your advanced knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a small team of support workers, ensuring consistency in approach and high morale.
Hands-on Support: Provide exceptional day-to-day care and behavioural support to an adult with autism, helping them develop independence and life skills.
Strategy Implementation: Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to implement, monitor, and adapt Positive Behaviour Support plans.
Data-Driven Care: Oversee daily logs, track progress data, and use your training to help analyze behavioural trends.
Incident Management: Confidently manage behaviours of concern, using de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of the individual and your team.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for a practitioner who brings a strong theoretical and practical understanding of behaviour change.

Essential Criteria:

Qualifications: You must have, or be actively working towards—a PBS Level 5 diploma OR an MSc in Behaviour Analysis (or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience working with adults with autism, learning disabilities, or behaviours of concern.
Leadership Skills: Experience leading/supervising a team, or a clear readiness to step up into a supervisory role.
Driving License: A full UK driving license is preferred to support the individual with community access.
