Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our busy restaurant team in Norwich.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the creativity, leadership and organisation skills to take full ownership of the kitchen operation.

As Head Chef, you will lead a talented kitchen team, maintain exceptional food standards, develop menus and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen reflects the quality and reputation of our restaurant.

The Role:

Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
Create and deliver exciting seasonal menus
Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and consistency
Manage kitchen costs, stock control and ordering
Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene standards are maintained
Deliver outstanding service during busy restaurant periods
Train and mentor chefs to reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
Proven experience managing a busy restaurant kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passionate about fresh, high-quality food
Excellent organisation and time management
Able to work calmly under pressure
Knowledge of kitchen costs, GP control and HACCP standards

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
