Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of technical equipment and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The Technician will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and reliably, supporting the overall productivity of the organisation.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electronic, and computer hardware systems.
Diagnose faults using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals.
Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to perform repairs and installations.
Troubleshoot computer hardware issues, including peripherals and internal components.
Repair and maintain networking equipment to ensure seamless connectivity across systems.
Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and upgrades.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment or systems.
Document all maintenance activities accurately within organisational records.
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools for various repair tasks.
Experience with computer hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
Knowledge of computer networking principles and configuration.
Familiarity with computer repair procedures, including software diagnostics.
Ability to perform routine maintenance on electronic systems and machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting. This position is fully paid, offering an engaging environment for individuals eager to expand their technical expertise while contributing effectively to our organisation's success.
