The Role: Mental Health Recovery Worker

As a Recovery Worker at NIHCSS, you’ll play a vital role in supporting people to move forward in their recovery. You will:

Build meaningful relationships and support individuals to work towards their personal goals and aspirations
Deliver 1:1 key work sessions and outcome‑focused interventions
Co‑produce recovery plans, risk assessments and safety plans
Use a flexible, creative approach across community and supported living settings
Empower people to have choice, control and independence
Work collaboratively with community services and act as a support navigator

What You’ll Need

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work (mileage paid)
Willingness to work across our shift patterns
A genuine dedication to supporting people on their recovery journey

Salary & Additional Pay

£24,968.26 basic salary
£1,066.65 Recruitment & Retention Allowance
Total: £26,034.91 per annum
£72.85 per sleep‑in shift (paid in addition)
