Full job description

Due to unprecedented growth of extra business and to help support our customers deliveries and collections, Monday to Friday, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and skilled HGV Class 1 Night Driver. Palletised freight network, hubs and trunking experience is massively beneficial.

You will be driving your own articulated tractor unit vehicle each night and carrying single deck and double deck curtain sided trailers between Leicester,LE67 as your starting point to and from our palletforce network hub, Burton on Trent, DE14. 1-3 Loads per night with potential trailer swaps in-between dependent upon work load rotation and distribution, All of which we can discuss in more detail during your interview.

Start time is circa 19:00pm each evening and finishing time is 02:00am-05:00am Monday to Friday. (last shift will end early hours of Saturday mornings.

Contracted hours are 49 hours per week. In transport each day is different, but we always aim to keep you as close to a daily structure as possible.

Pay is weekly, goes in your bank every Thursday midnight, payslips and holidays are all handled online via our HR portal login.

Structured , solid job which you can secure and be comfortable in working in a close group of team of fellow drivers and logistics professionals ensuring deliveries meet our customers on time.

We are a busy, fast paced company and look for drivers whom really want to get involved and help clear our overall 700-800 pallets a day as a team. 28 days holiday per year.
