Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter/Wireman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components including solar systems in various industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with a range of tools and technologies. Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and wire electrical components using hand tools and power tools in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Work with surface mount technology (SMT) components during assembly processes.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to prevent faults and minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical and solar systems fitting or wiring roles within residential, industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in electrical assembly.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly techniques is desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to support integration of electrical components into machinery.
- Experience with electrical and solar systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair processes.
- Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation accurately.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
