Full job description

Embroidery Machinist

Location: Leicester
Hours: 25–35 hours per week (flexible)
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Embroidery Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating embroidery machinery to produce high-quality embroidered garments and textiles in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Operate multiple embroidery machines to produce work to customer specifications.
Set up machines, load designs, and make adjustments as required.
Monitor production runs and resolve minor machine issues where possible.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Assist with stock control of embroidery materials and consumables.
Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
Support other areas of the business when required.

Requirements

Previous embroidery experience is essential.
Ability to operate embroidery machinery independently and confidently.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable within a busy production environment.
Warehouse or production experience is advantageous but not essential.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. The successful candidate may choose their working hours within these times, subject to business needs.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
