Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team for 20hours a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with credit control and various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the finance department in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring they are up to date

- Process invoices, expense claims, and payments accurately

- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements

- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities

- Handle general administrative tasks related to accounting

Experience:

- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Hours are:

Monday to Thursday– Afternoons only (12:30am – 5pm) 4.5hours

Friday – Afternoons only (12:30am – 2:30pm) 2hours
