Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Assistant Site Manager to support the smooth operation of our construction or development projects. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily site activities, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring health and safety compliance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their management skills within a dynamic environment. The Assistant Site Manager will be paid for their work and play a vital role in maintaining project efficiency and safety standards.

Duties

Assist the Site Manager in coordinating daily site operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Supervise on-site personnel, including subcontractors and labourers, to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and safely
Monitor health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance across the site
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of progress, deliveries, and incidents, preparing reports for senior management
Support the organisation of site logistics, including deliveries, equipment allocation, and resource planning
Ensure all site activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential for site visits and logistics coordination
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Strong customer service skills to manage client relationships professionally
Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and foster teamwork among diverse groups
Previous experience in construction or site management is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided
Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure
Ability to work flexibly across different shifts as required by project timelines
