We are seeking a skilled and personable Men’s Barber to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for grooming, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment where professionalism and client satisfaction are paramount. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services tailored to men's styles, ensuring each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied.

Duties

Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, trims, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
Offer grooming advice and recommend suitable styles based on face shape, hair type, and personal style
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
Build rapport with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise customer flow
Stay updated with the latest trends in men's grooming and barbering techniques
Handle customer queries politely and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all clients

Skills

Proven experience in barbering or hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
Proficiency in hair styling techniques specific to men's grooming
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments smoothly
Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine interest in helping clients look and feel their best
