Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable heating solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair gas heating systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to complete tasks efficiently
Carry out basic carpentry and assembly work related to heating system installations
Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely and effectively
Troubleshoot mechanical faults using specialised knowledge and diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies

Experience

Proven experience as a Gas Heating Engineer or similar role within the heating or plumbing industry
Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems
Experience working with commercial driving licences is advantageous but not essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations related to gas systems and building worksThis position offers an engaging opportunity for qualified professionals eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment. Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
