Guillotine Operator / Print Finisher

Prestige Print is a well-established commercial printing company based in Telford. As we celebrate nearly 40 years in business, we continue to invest in our people and are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Guillotine Operator / Print Finisher to join our production team.

Whether you already have experience within the printing industry or are looking to learn a skilled trade, we would be pleased to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

Operating guillotine cutting machines safely and accurately.
Carrying out a variety of print finishing duties, including cutting, folding, creasing, perforating, collating, laminating and general finishing work.
Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets our high quality standards.
Packing completed jobs and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Assisting with other production duties, when required, to help ensure the smooth running of the factory.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Have good practical and organisational skills.
Take pride in producing work of a high standard.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Work well both independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to learn new skills and undertake training.
Previous experience in print finishing or operating a guillotine would be an advantage, but is not essential.
