Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technician – Specialist Cleaning & Restoration to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of restoring and cleaning properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. Your expertise will help clients recover their spaces efficiently and effectively, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment and may lead to further works on other projects.

Duties

Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform cleaning, restoration, and repair tasks with precision.
Assess damage sites thoroughly to determine the appropriate cleaning and restoration procedures.
Prepare work areas by removing debris, setting up containment zones, and protecting unaffected spaces.
Execute cleaning processes including water extraction, mold remediation, fire damage cleanup, and odor removal.
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues during all operations.
Must be punctual and show time management skills.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Maintain a professional approach when representing the business on client sites, ensuring effective communication and excellent customer service.
Be familiar with RAMS & COSHH specifications.
Preferable have a Cscs card but not essential.
Have sole trader public liability insurance.
Must be registered as self employed.

Qualifications

Construction experience or background in building trades will be considered an asset but not essential.
Ability to operate various tools safely and effectively in different environments.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding situations.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members alike.
