Full job description

Langage Farm are looking to employ an experienced and motivated Refrigeration Engineer to join our engineering team.

You will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our production operation, working alongside the engineering and production teams to maintain equipment, respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime.

The role averages 40 hours a week Monday-Friday (with occasional weekend work as required), working 8-hour shifts from 8:00am to 16:00pm.

Essential

· Time served in a recognized apprenticeship.

· F- gas certified

· Naturally enthusiastic and lead by example.

· Professional and proactive work ethic.

· Excellent problem solving and analyzing.

· Good standard of written and oral communication in English.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and continue improvements.

Responsibilities

· To be part of the wider engineer team maintaining the factories facilities and production.

· Respond to breakdowns and emergency situations, diagnose, and rectify faults. Plus, and carrying out effective hands-on maintenance and repairs.

· Complete ‘route- cause’ analysis and problem-solving techniques to maximize the efficiency and safety of the site plant and equipment.

· Advise on plant and equipment improvements which contribute towards, health and safety and /or technical corrective actions.

· Carry out Risk Assessments and implement safe systems of work, ensuring compliance within health, safety and environmental regulations and codes.

· Support projects and maintenance activities, assisting in planning work, to avoid disrupting production.

· Carry out f-gas compliance checks and keep f-gas compliance records up to date.

· Any other duties that may be required to help in the engineering team.
