Full job description

This role can be full time or part time. shifts are 7am to 2pm - 7am to 5pm

We are a family run home with 40 beds we provide residential care for the over 65 with a wide range of abilities.

We are seeking a person with high standards of cleanliness and a solid understanding of infection prevention and control, as we care for vulnerable and high‑risk residents.

The role recognises that a resident’s home is their own space, and their belongings should be kept where they want them. We place great emphasis on risk awareness and infection control and already have a range of safety measures in place. By joining our team, you will help protect our residents and contribute to a safe, respectful, home‑like environment. We provide comprehensive induction and ongoing training to support you in the role.

We will need the applicant to

· Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.

· Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.

· Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Report any defect to the Home Manager.

Carry out any other reasonable instructions from the Managers.
To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents ensuring their rooms are clean and tidy as they like.
To comply with COSHH regulations.
To adhere to infection control polices at all times.
To ensure the correct use of PPE. · To follow the correct use of colour code systems within the home
To ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.
To ensure trolleys/store rooms are re-stocked at the end of shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71-£12.85 per hour
