Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of their designated section within the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts to develop their skills in a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in maintaining our restaurant’s reputation for exceptional cuisine and service.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee the daily operations of a specific section within the kitchen, such as fish, meat, or pastry
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver a seamless dining experience
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations before, during, and after service
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and improvements

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the field of gastronomy
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
