Full job description

Knockmoyle Lodge is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Registered Nurse to join our team. Mileage allowance included.

You will play an important role in supporting the health, comfort and well-being of our residents by delivering safe, high-quality nursing care. You will work closely with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to maintain a positive, supportive and person-centred environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Assessing residents’ physical, mental and emotional care needs
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring and recording residents’ vital signs and relevant medical information
Working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide coordinated care
Maintaining accurate care records and clinical documentation
Supporting residents and communicating with their families
Carrying out other appropriate duties assigned by the Nurse Manager

Essential requirements:

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Experience in medication administration and delivering nursing care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
