About the Role:
Magic Seasonings Co. Ltd. is committed to producing safe, high-quality food products while maintaining excellent standards across our manufacturing operations. We are looking for a Food Safety Coordinator to take ownership of our food safety systems and support a strong culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that food safety is more than documentation—it is about protecting customers, supporting production teams, and ensuring every process meets the highest standards. You will work closely with quality, production, and operations teams to maintain HACCP systems, support audits, investigate issues, and drive improvements throughout the business.

You will be a key point of contact for food safety activities, helping ensure our products consistently meet legal requirements, customer expectations, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Safety Management:
Maintain and support HACCP systems, food safety procedures, and quality documentation to ensure compliance with UK food safety standards.

Audits and Compliance:
Conduct internal inspections, support external audits, and ensure corrective actions are completed effectively.

Quality Assurance Support:
Monitor production processes, hygiene standards, allergen controls, traceability procedures, and food safety practices.

Investigation and Improvement:
Assist with investigating customer complaints, non-conformances, and food safety concerns while supporting preventative actions.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation required for food safety management.

Employee Support and Training:
Provide guidance and support to colleagues on food safety procedures, hygiene requirements, and best practices.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
Previous experience in food safety, quality assurance, food manufacturing, or a related environment.

Food Safety Knowledge:
Strong understanding of HACCP principles, food hygiene standards, and food safety management systems.

Compliance Awareness:
Knowledge of UK food safety legislation and experience supporting BRCGS or similar standards is desirable.

Attention to Detail:
You are organised, accurate, and confident managing documentation, audits, and compliance activities.

Communication Skills:
You can work effectively with production teams, quality teams, and management to promote a positive food safety culture.

Qualifications:
A recognised Food Safety qualification (Level 3 or above) is preferred, along with practical experience applying food safety principles in a workplace environment.

Mindset:
You are proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about maintaining high standards. You understand that great food safety comes from teamwork, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
