About us

The Inn at Huxley is a restaurant and bar in the village of Huxley 5 miles from the centre of Chester. We offer a small seasonal fresh menu and a comprehensive wine and drinks offering.

We are a small team of dedicated professionals that take Hospitality seriously.

We're looking for an experienced, engaging individual to join our team as a Bar and restaurant supervisor. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working in the hospitality industry and will be capable of handling multiple responsibilities, working the bar and the floor.

As the bar and restaurant supervisor, you will work closely with our floor Manager and head chefs to ensure the smooth running of the bar and restaurant and handle customer requests and complaints.

The successful candidate will feel comfortable in an active role organising the bar and floor requirments and ensuring that standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities:

Ordering and replenishing stock.
knowledge of wines and drinks menu.
Take food and drink orders
Give good customer service to our guests.
Delight customers with unique and interesting drinks.
Manage Payments and gain full understanding of the EPOs system.
Maintain legal and regulatory compliance regarding alcohol service.
Assist with the opening and closing procedures. cashing up and closing down.
Take charge in the abcence of the floor manager
Ensure orders are correct and served in a timely manner.
Change Barrels and carry out regular line cleans.
Help and inspire other members of the team.
