Job Overview

As Tradecore's operations continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Expediting Administrator to join our Team in Chandler’s Ford.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy providing administrative support across different departments, we would like to hear from you..

Responsibilities

Order Placement: Raise and issue purchase orders (POs) with suppliers accurately and in a timely manner.
Order Management: Monitor and track purchase orders from issuance to delivery.
Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and resolve delays.
Client Communication: Provide clients with accurate ETAs and regular progress updates, ensuring transparency at all stages.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and correspondence.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with logistics, sales, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on order progress to management.
Issue Resolution: Identify potential delays or issues and escalate where necessary to prevent disruption.
Administrative Support: Assist with related administrative tasks as required, including holiday/sickness cover for team members.

Experience

Proven experience in administrative roles or expediting environments
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with effective time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Previous experience in customer service or sales administration is advantageous
Adequate IT literacy with a solid understanding of computer skills necessary for data tracking and reporting
Strong communication skills (English fluency required).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
