Full job description

Newbery metals are looking for an experienced Scrap Metal Yard Operatives to join their well established team at our Exeter depot.

The skills we are looking for:

Previous experience in ELV de-pollution highly desirable
Current forklift licence desirable
Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
Previous experience in the scrap metal environment, or similar, such as waste, aggregates, recycling yard(s) is required.
Awareness of how to operate safely and effectively in a large industrial environment.
Adaptable to meet business priorities.
Good communication skills.
Organised, safety conscious, physically fit and motivated.
Comfortable working outside
Ability to travel to and from the depot without difficulty

Pay rate negotiable depending on Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Experience:

Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
Scrap Metal: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
