Front of House Team Member

Coldharbour Field Kitchen, Ottery St Mary, Devon

We are looking for an experienced and confident Front of House team member to join our busy, fast-paced Field Kitchen team at Coldharbour Field Kitchen.

This is not an entry-level position. We are specifically looking for someone with a proven track record working in a Front of House role within a restaurant, café, bistro or hospitality setting. Previous experience is absolutely essential and is non-negotiable.

Our Field Kitchen is known for high-quality food, warm hospitality and a relaxed but professional atmosphere. We need someone who can hit the ground running, work efficiently under pressure and deliver excellent customer service consistently.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Greeting and seating customers

Taking food and drink orders accurately

Delivering exceptional customer service

Managing busy service periods professionally

Supporting the wider restaurant team

Maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards

Handling customer enquiries confidently and professionally

Essential Requirements

Proven Front of House experience in a restaurant, café or bistro environment

Strong customer service skills

Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Reliable, hardworking and professional

Weekend & evening availability essential
