Our facilities in Yarnton and Abingdon, near Oxford, are dedicated to establishing the world’s fastest, smartest, and best-equipped environment for the rapid development of additively manufactured parts and the creation of novel metal alloys for enhanced performance. We serve a variety of sectors including electronics, aerospace, and industrial by leveraging our cutting-edge technology to build businesses across diverse markets, each with unique requirements, timelines, customers, and cultures.

The Role & Responsibilities

Alloyed is seeking an energetic and proactive individual to join its Knowledge & People team as an Early Careers Lead. This is a hands-on role serving as the primary point of contact and coordinator for our apprentices, interns, and graduates across the business.

This is a fast-paced, high-visibility position where you will be responsible for attracting interns and graduates, welcoming them in, supporting their learning through hands‑on project work, coursework and rotations, and helping them build the confidence and capability to take on future responsibilities? This role will require you to be regularly present at our sites in both Abingdon and Yarnton to engage across all teams.

Responsibilities

· Co-ordinate the recruitment activities and processes for all early careers roles, from drafting job descriptions candidate sourcing, assessment and selection as well as organising on-site recruitment events.
Represent or manage the registrations and attendance at university careers fairs, societies, schools and industry events for candidate pipeline growth and brand awareness.
Research, select, and strengthen relationships with training providers, colleges and Universities
Coordinate onboarding effort and training plan schedules as well as social events
Support the planning of internal rotations and career progression.
Establish and maintain regular check-ins with both the early careers cohort and their line managers.
Coordinate the administration of mid-year and end-of-year reviews, ensuring all documentation and feedback is in line with company guidelines.
Be a dedicated general advisor and mentor for these cohorts, their associated line managers and for the K&P team.
Act as key point of contact to facilitate visits and regular communication between external training providers and apprentices to support their learning experience.
Create and maintain accurate data and reporting on training, recruitment and program success.
Explore the feasibility of offering degree apprenticeships at Alloyed and, if approved, take ownership of implementing this initiative in collaboration with the Knowledge & People team, and wider internal stakeholders.

Essential

Strong coordinating skills being able to prioritise a busy and varied workload
Previous experience in a relevant role
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Self-motivated, with a commitment to delivering a responsive, high-quality service and exceptional attention to detail.
Able to work proactively and independently, while also collaborating effectively within cross functional teams.
A full UK driving licence and car owner to travel between sites regularly.
Full training and support will be given as needed.

Desirable

An understanding of how the UK Apprenticeship Levy or training frameworks operate.
Competency in managing spreadsheets to track metrics, feedback, and "traceability" (e.g., Excel, HRIS, or ATS).
Experience in degree apprenticeships
