Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Paraplanner to join our financial services team preferably Diploma Level 4. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within financial services, offering structured training, full study support, and clear progression into a fully qualified Paraplanner role.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of detailed financial reports and documentation for clients
Support senior paraplanners and financial advisers with research and analysis tasks
Gather and review information from providers and third parties
Analyse data to support financial planning recommendations
Assist in drafting and preparing suitability reports
Contribute to the drafting of client correspondence and communication materials
Help ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Manage administrative tasks related to client files, appointments, and follow-ups
Develop organisational skills by prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of financial planning processes and systems

Requirements

Experience within financial services (IFA / wealth management preferred) or paraplanning support role
Strong report writing and analysis skills with an interest in financial services
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional manner
Basic understanding of financial planning principles is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; IT literacy is essential
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Previous administrative experience or customer service background is advantageous
Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail
A proactive attitude towards learning about the financial profession and regulatory environment
