The Public Protection Partnership is a shared environmental health, licensing and trading standards service for Bracknell Forest, Wokingham and West Berkshire Councils.

About the role
As a Customer Delivery Technical Officer, you will provide a frontline service to residents, clients and businesses who contact us by telephone, online forms and email. You will also provide first response technical advice and support to both internal and external customers to help ensure consistent information and advice is provided across the service.

We offer a unique and dynamic working environment working across the partner local authorities which means there are plenty of opportunities to experience a wide range of cases and training opportunities including apprenticeships to allow you to develop your skills etc. We are looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and confident working in a fast-paced environment

As the post offers support to partners across the partner authorities you will be based in Theale in West Berkshire.

We are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised above. We may however consider offering less hours than advertised providing they meet the requirements of the role and service which will be determined by the recruiting manager.

Main duties and responsibilities of a Customer Delivery Technical Officer

In this varied role you will handle customer enquiries and service requests, support professional officers, maintain and update records and files and process and input data into systems and databases accurately and securely. You will also be asked to undertake office administration tasks which would include dealing with post, filing and photocopying and the preparation of court bundles.

The ideal candidate will be organised, have good IT skills, be a good team player, be customer-focused and confident of working in a fast-paced environment.
