Job Advert

Drive specialised catering trucks directly onto airport runways and work alongside aircraft crews in the secure airside environment at Glasgow Airport.

THIS IS A FIXED TERM POSITION, CONTRACT ENDS 31ST OF OCTOBER 2026

What you'll be doing

You'll operate modern specialised catering trucks in Glasgow Airport's secure airside environment. Your role involves transporting and loading catering uplifts onto different aircraft types, from small business jets to commercial airliners.

Main duties:

Driving HGV 15-18 tonne company vehicles in secure airside areas
Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
Working with flight crews and ground handling suppliers
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and tidiness
Following Road Traffic Acts and Airport By-laws
Bar and stores packing, search and sealing duties
Additional warehouse duties as required

What you'll bring

Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points considered)
Digital Tachograph knowledge and card
Driver CPC qualification essential
Previous HGV experience desirable
Airport Airside Driving experience advantageous
Knowledge of Road Traffic Act
