About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Officer to provide hands-on technical support and help deliver a seamless technology experience across Evestia Clinical. You'll troubleshoot issues, maintain hardware and software, support users at all levels and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services and systems.
What will your job look like?
Log, prioritise and resolve IT support requests, ensuring timely communication and adherence to service levels.
Administer Microsoft 365, including user accounts, email, permissions, licensing and SharePoint support.
Install, configure and maintain hardware, software, mobile devices, printers and other IT equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and access issues, escalating where required and following through to resolution.
Support user onboarding by setting up accounts, devices and system access, and providing guidance on technology and best practices.
Plan and perform routine maintenance, upgrades and system improvements to ensure reliability and security.
Deliver user training and one-to-one support to enhance employee knowledge and effective use of technology.
Manage IT assets, software licences, inventory, procurement, disposal and compliance requirements.
Build strong relationships with users, understand business needs and provide a customer-focused IT support service.
Identify opportunities to improve IT services, processes and the overall user experience.
What will you need to succeed?
Associate's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or Systems Administration OR Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED combined with relevant IT certifications (like CompTIA A+).
Experience in an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar end-user support role.
Strong customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and internal customers.
Organised, patient and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong IT and problem-solving skills, with a logical and analytical approach.
User-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
Flexibility to provide support outside standard business hours when required.
