Our client are an established architectural practice with multiple offices across the UK. Their project portfolio is diverse and includes civic buildings, hotels, residential schemes, commercial projects and public projects.

They are often trusted with some of the most prestigious projects in the UK and internationally due to their ability to understand the context of a building within it's local surroundings.

Due to continued success, our client are looking to strengthen their senior leadership team in Oxford and are looking to hire an Associate / Associate Director.

The practice have secured 2 incredibly interesting, large commercial projects in the centre of Oxford which incorporate both new build and existing-building elements. The projects on adjacent sites require a good eye for design, an ability to deliver a cutting-edge modern building as well as a sense of the public realm, place making and contextual sensitivity.

The Opportunity

The opportunity to take a landmark, large scale commercial project in the centre of Oxford from design right through to delivery.
In the short term become a part of the Senior leadership team in the Oxford office, in the longer term become a director/partner in the business.
To work for a multi region, international architecture practice with a global reputation, excellent work-life balance and commitment to staff well being.

The Requirements

Prior experience working as a Senior Architect, Associate, Associate Director or similar
An ability to lead medium-large scale projects
Understands the planning process
Confident being in a client-facing role
Able to run and manage a small team (team of around 5 people)
Experience of working with commercial developers (Preferred)
Has experience working on Oxford-based projects (Preferred)
