Full job description

1. Under the leadership of the Head of Human Resources, to lead on operational Human Resources matters across the Association.

1.1 To offer advice and guidance to line managers in the effective implementation of the Human Resources Policies and Procedures.

1.2 To have responsibility for ensuring welfare, employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management and absence management are all managed to a quality and consistent standard throughout the Association.

1.3 To have responsibility for the administrative Training and Development records within the Association.

2. To be responsible for the maintenance of Human Resources systems.

2.1 To maintain and be responsible for the Association’s Human Resources Atlas system.

2.2 To ensure the accurate recording and updating of the information and Human Resources systems to ensure appropriate information is reported to the Head of Human Resources.

2.3 Support the development of Human Resource information systems to enhance the service provided.

3. To be responsible for the accurate and timely production of all Human Resources information.

3.1 To produce accurate and timely information for distribution to staff regarding their employment.

3.2 To undertake all Human Resources related administrative tasks which include preparing letters, reports, statistics, note taking, recruitment packs and other associated documents.

4. To provide timely information to the Head of Human Resources.

4.1 To work closely with the Head of Human Resources presenting reports on issues of legislation and good practice and development/reviewing of policy and procedures.

4.2 To develop Frameworks and Action Plans and be responsible for the monitoring of these.

4.3 To produce accurate statistical data on a regular basis for the Head of Human Resources.

5. To carry out all other duties as requested by the Chief Executive and/or Head of Human Resources.

5.1 To prioritise any task given by the Chief Executive and/or Head of Human Resources and complete it to an excellent standard within timescale.

6. General

6.1 To participate in any training that may be considered necessary in developing the work.

6.2 Strict adherence to confidentiality is required at all times.

6.3 To work in accordance with the Association’s Safeguarding Framework at all times.

6.4 To treat everybody with respect and demonstrate commitment to Equality and Diversity.

6.5 To promote good practice through adhering to the Association’s Policy and Procedures and demonstrating the Association’s Behavioural Competencies .

6.6 To undertake any other responsibilities and duties appropriate to the level of the post, that may be required from time to time.

Pay: £41,542.00-£49,263.00 per year
