We're looking for a Senior Embodied Carbon Consultant to join our Architecture team based in Speke, Liverpool.
Location: Speke, Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – with some agile working
Salary: starting from £45,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Carbon team within the Architecture discipline, where you'll play a key role in driving sustainability through embodied carbon assessments. You'll be working on innovative projects, advising on sustainable material choices whilst also contributing your architectural design expertise to deliver high-quality building solutions.
Are You…
- Experienced in undertaking embodied carbon assessments (e.g. OneClick LCA) and advising on alternative construction material choices
- Working as an Architect / Architectural Technologist in BIM environments
- Confident delivering detailed design within budget and programme constraints
- Comfortable mentoring others and influencing design decisions
Do You Have…
- HNC (minimum) in Architecture or Architectural Technology
- Strong working knowledge of OneClick LCA, REVIT and NBS Create
- Excellent understanding of construction and design coordination
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary design teams
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Embodied Carbon Consultant, you'll be working within the Carbon team, supporting them in reducing the environmental impact of construction projects. Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out embodied carbon assessments and generating detailed reports on construction materials
- Advising designers and contractors on alternative materials with lower carbon content
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members in carbon assessment techniques
- Contributing to detailed architectural design using BIM software such as REVIT and NBS Create
- Developing fee proposals for carbon consultancy services and undertaking site visits
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Embodied Carbon Consultant is great for you if:
- You have extensive experience in conducting embodied carbon assessments and advising on sustainable material alternatives
- You hold a minimum HNC level qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related discipline (degree level preferred)
- You're proficient in using carbon calculation software (such as OneClick LCA) and architectural design tools including REVIT and NBS Create
- You have a strong understanding of building construction and enjoy collaborating within multi-disciplinary design teams
- You're an effective communicator who enjoys supporting and mentoring others
