We are looking for dedicated and experienced mentors to support children and young people. This is a self-employed role, providing therapeutic and trauma-informed mentoring to children in care, previously looked-after children, and those with a social worker.

Pay: £17/20 per hour
Mileage paid: £0.40 per mile*
Location: Applicants must be based in Wirral or willing to travel.

Essential Requirements:

Must be on the DBS Update Service or have a DBS dated within the last 6 months or willing to undertake one
Must have completed Safeguarding, GDPR, and Prevent training within the last 2 years
Must be responsible for their own learning and development (at no cost to the company)
Must be self-employed and responsible for own tax affairs

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support to children in various settings, fostering their personal and academic growth.
Develop and implement engaging mentoring programs tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with educators and parents to address special education requirements.
Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork and social skills.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage development.
Serve as a positive role model, inspiring youth to achieve their goals.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
