Full job description

We're a small company with retail sites in the South West and e-commerce brands. We’re looking for someone with good creative design and digital skills to join us 1-2 days at our Corsham office and Bath photo studio. The remaining days of the week will be remote working.

Role Overview
The role combines graphic design, social media management, content creation, and marketing support to ensure consistent brand communication across digital and physical channels.

The Marketing Executive & Content Creator is responsible for creating and delivering engaging marketing assets for both print and digital, social content and and assisting with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will support the Marketing Manager in bringing campaigns to life, creating content that drives engagement, customer visits and brand awareness while maintaining high creative standards.

This position offers valuable experience across multiple areas of marketing and is ideal for candidates looking to develop a strong foundation in design, marketing, content creation and brand communications.

Core Responsibilities

Design & Print Tasks

Design - layout, graphic finishing and getting documents print-ready
Editing photography for design and print
Copy writing (social media, printed promotional assets, email marketing)

Key Skills

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Understanding of basic print production requirements including CMYK, bleed, resolution and file preparation
Strong graphic design and layout skills
Copywriting for social media, promotional materials and email marketing
Attention to detail and brand consistency

Good To Have

Experience with Canva
Photography - composition, lighting, focus, colour correction
Experience on professional photoshoots (creating shot lists and production schedules)

Social Media ManagementTasks

Plan weekly content calendars (with Marketing Manager input)
Create, edit and refine content
Maintain social media highlights and profile content
Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement
Ensure content aligns with brand tone, objectives and campaign plans
Track content performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Support influencer and creator collaborations

Key Skills

Experience using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other social platforms
Content planning and organisation
Video editing and content creation
Strong written communication skills
Ability to identify trends and content opportunities

Good To Have

Paid social advertising experience
Understanding of social media analytics and reporting
Experience working with influencers and content creators

Marketing SupportTasks

Assist with planning and execution of marketing campaigns
Support product launches, seasonal promotions and brand initiatives
Assist with organising and coordinating photoshoots
Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials across stores
Help maintain marketing asset libraries and content databases
Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communications
Provide general support to the Marketing Manager on ad-hoc marketing projects

Key Skills

Strong organisational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good communication and collaboration skills
Proactive and solutions-focused approach

Desirable Skills

Experience working within hospitality, food & beverage or retail brands
Basic understanding of digital marketing and customer loyalty programmes
Experience supporting promotional events and launches

What we’re looking for:

Have a driver’s licence and your own car;
Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and online marketing;
Strong photography, videography, and graphic design skills - Adobe CC (or similar software);
Ability to work independently and use initiative as well as be a part of a small team;
Solid organisational and time management skills;
A good understanding and knowledge of Social Media platforms, especially Instagram & TikTok;
Preferably have your own photography & video equipment;
A plus if you are able to speak and write in Mandarin;
