Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our team in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across various commercial and residential settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to high-quality service delivery while working on diverse projects.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repairs.
Read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of plumbing layouts.
Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Operate commercial vehicles as required for transporting materials or equipment between sites.

Requirements

Proven experience as a qualified plumber with demonstrable knowledge of plumbing systems and installation techniques.
Skills in welding, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools essential for the role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations during projects.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties preferred.
Experience with assembly work and familiarity with plumbing-related construction processes is advantageous.
