Full job description

Job Overview
Head Chef Olly Gardner is on the lookout for talented individuals to join his kitchen brigade. We’re passionate about eating, drinking & sleeping: the simple things in life done well.

We’re looking for candidates with, and without, previous experience, as full training will be given. The important thing is that you have a passion for food and service, are warm and welcoming and a strong team player.

Pay: Up to £12.75 per hour, depending on age and experience, + share of tronc

Hours: 20+ hours with two consecutive days off. All year round, permanent position.
Start date: ASAP

Skills & Experience:

Able to work within a team
Good organisational skills
Able to work under pressure
Good time keeping
No previous experience necessary although helpful
Potential to advance within a Kitchen environment for the right candidate

Duties

Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
Support the kitchen team in organising supplies and ingredients
Ensure the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts
Dispose of waste appropriately and recycle where possible
Maintain a tidy and safe working environment at all times

Pay: Up to £12.75 per hour
