Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Self Employed Massage Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients. This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to manage your own schedule while delivering personalised treatments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure client satisfaction and well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct customised massage treatments based on individual client needs, including relaxation, deep tissue, sports, or specialised therapies.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
Manage your own appointments, scheduling sessions to optimise client flow and availability.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences.
Promote your services through professional networks and maintain a positive rapport with clients to encourage repeat business.
Stay informed about the latest massage techniques and industry standards through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Recognised qualification in massage therapy or related field.
Proven experience in delivering various massage techniques with a focus on client care.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain treatment procedures effectively.
Ability to work independently as a self-employed professional, managing your own business operations.
Flexibility to accommodate clients’ schedules, including evenings and weekends if required.
Valid insurance coverage for practice as a massage therapist is highly desirable but not mandatory at the outset.

Pay: From £30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
