At Corbenic, we believe everyone deserves to live a life filled with purpose, dignity and opportunity. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives within our unique residential community in rural Perthshire.

This is far more than a care role. You'll become part of a supportive community where meaningful relationships, person-centred support and creating a genuine home environment are at the heart of everything we do.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care and practical support to residents, enabling them to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and wellbeing.

Working as part of a dedicated house team, you'll support residents with their daily routines, personal care, health appointments, activities and communication, while also helping to create a warm and welcoming home through cooking, cleaning and other household tasks.

No two days are the same, making this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys variety and making a positive impact.

Key responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each resident's individual needs.
Support with personal care, daily living activities and promoting independence.
Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
Support residents to attend healthcare appointments, workshops and community activities.
Contribute to care planning and maintain accurate records.
Promote residents' rights, choices and wellbeing.
Prepare meals and carry out domestic duties including cleaning and laundry.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care.
Maintain high standards in line with Health & Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice and Corbenic policies.
Participate in training, supervision and ongoing professional development.
Take part in sleepovers and a rota that includes evenings and weekends.

About you

Desirable

Experience working in health or social care.
SVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Relevant care training.
Current SSSC registration.
Full manual UK driving licence.
