Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and professional Bar Person/Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage daily operations, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our club members. Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred, along with an understanding of responsible service of alcohol.

Duties

Supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
Organise shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality, with knowledge of safety standards
Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management
Leadership qualities to supervise
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service regulations and licensing laws
