Salary - £14,068 per annum plus pension and company benefits.
We have a great opportunity for a friendly and reliable Warehouse assistant to join our busy Brewers Decorator Centre in Eastbourne on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. Providing exceptional service to our customers in branch, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly. Experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.
With our history beginning in Eastbourne in 1904, we have been serving local trades people and retail customers with our expertise and knowledge ever since. Inside our modern and spacious store we stock a comprehensive range of trade and designer paints, a huge selection of wallpapers all the decorating materials and equipment our customers needed to complete the job and is also host to our flagship Brewers Home showroom. Our team is extremely experienced in our industry and are always happy to give product advice to seasoned tradespeople and home décor enthusiasts alike.
Store opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm, Sunday and Bank Holidays 10am - 4pm.

As a Warehouse Assistant with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Storing goods received promptly, systematically and safely
- Assisting delivery drivers with loading of goods, and ensuring goods are available for collection
- Keeping accurate records of goods in and out, ensuring relevant functions receive correct and up to date information
- Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
- Maintaining warehouse to agreed standards, ensuring minimal risk of injury, accident or damage
- Provide exceptional service to customers in branch
Who we are looking for to join our team:
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative and work well within a team
- Can work quickly and accurately, with good attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate multitasking ability
- Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality
- Confident with the use of computers with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
