DNA Payments is a rapidly growing FinTech organisation, established in 2018. We are one of the UK’s largest independent payment providers, supporting over 60,000 merchants and processing more than £1.2 billion in transactions each month. Our mission is to simplify and enhance the way businesses accept payments through innovative and reliable solutions.

Role Purpose

This is a field based, door to door sales role focused on generating new business through F2F Cold Calling. As a cold call business development manager, you will be responsible for visiting businesses within your territory, introducing DNA Payments and creating new sales opportunities.

This role requires resilience, confidence, and a highly driven mindset, as success comes from consistent activity and the ability to objection handle.

Reporting to: Area Sales Manager & Head of Field Sales – Cold Callers

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high volume door to door prospecting (70 doors + a day)
Engage directly with business owners and decision makers
Identify customer needs and generate qualified sales opportunities
Booking appointments and closing deals
Build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships with merchants
Accurately record all activity within Salesforce CRM

Performance Expectations

Cold Calling businesses every day (typically 70+)
Generate consistent new business opportunities through face to face engagement
Achieve 1 Self Generated POS sale per working day on average after 3 months
Book a minimum of 3 appointments per day with decision makers in the field
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
Deliver a professional and engaging experience at every interaction
Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques

Comfortable approaching new people and starting conversations
Competitive mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in door to door sales, field sales, or customer facing roles is required.
Previous experience in the payments industry is advantageous
