Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Printer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining smooth production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to the creation of various printed materials and products.

Duties

Operate and monitor various printing machines, ensuring precise calibration and functioning.
Set up printing equipment according to specifications, including adjusting settings and loading materials.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printers to minimise downtime.
Assist with fabricating and assembling components related to printing projects using hand tools and power tools.
Conduct quality checks on printed materials, ensuring colour accuracy and clarity.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow.
Assist with warehouse duties such as heavy lifting of materials and supplies as required.

Experience

Previous printing experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is essential. Only applicants with this experience will be considered.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting and maintaining printing equipment.
Experience with heavy lifting and handling large or bulky items safely is preferred.
Candidates with warehouse experience or background in production will find this role well-suited to their skills.
A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and adhering to safety protocols is essential for success in this position.
Experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pay: £681.35-£841.72 per week
