Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering specialised patient care, focusing on MSK & sports rehabilitation and improving mobility. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment, contributing to patient recovery and wellbeing. Candidates should possess relevant clinical experience, particularly within hospital settings, independent practice and demonstrate a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.

Duties

Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive examinations and develop personalized treatment plans.
Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, shockwave therapy, mobilisation, and exercise programmes tailored to individual needs.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, posture correction, and home-based exercises.
Assess the patient's living space to recommend modifications (e.g., grab rails, ramp access) and ensure the home environment supports safe, independent movement.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Design high-repetition, task-specific exercise programs aimed at rewiring neural pathways and improving motor control.

Experience

A recognized qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is essential. BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy & relevant certification showing CPD.
Proven experience working in hospital environments is highly desirable.
Prior experience specialising in sports rehab is advantageous.
HCPC & CSP registered.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients of all ages.
