Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities and ensure the smooth functioning of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in retail or sales management. This role involves supervising teams, managing organisational processes, and implementing strategic initiatives to optimise operational efficiency. Fluency in multiple languages and excellent communication skills are highly desirable to facilitate effective interaction across diverse teams and clients. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving organisational success through effective team management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily operations across various departments, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
Manage and develop teams through effective leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Oversee retail management activities, including merchandising, sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
Coordinate with different departments to streamline processes, optimise resource utilisation, and improve overall efficiency.
Implement organisational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse data to identify growth opportunities, and develop action plans accordingly.
Maintain excellent communication with staff at all levels, fostering a positive work environment characterised by strong phone etiquette and organisational skills.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, budgeting, and inventory control.
Ensure effective time management within the team to meet organisational goals and deadlines.
Organise training sessions for staff development in areas such as management techniques, merchandising, or customer engagement.

Requirements

Proven experience in management roles with supervising experience in retail or sales environments.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff towards achieving organisational goals.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multiple languages being advantageous.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail operations is preferred.
Strong administrative experience including report writing, scheduling, and resource planning.
Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional demeanour when interacting with clients and team members.
Good time management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
